Rye Planning Board approves multiple escrow payments and updates on local projects

Vice‑Chair JM Lord moved to pay six Sebago Technics invoices related to review work on projects including 460 South Street, Benchmark Assisted Care, Airfield Drive, 4 and 14 Sagamore Road, and 2203 Ocean Boulevard; the motion was seconded by Member Bill MacLeod and carried 6‑0‑0. A separate motion to pay a $168 escrow to DTC for 4 Sagamore Rd. was also approved 6‑0‑0.
Lord summarized project updates: contractor activity at 14 Sagamore Rd. will require coordination with the Rye Water District for sanitary sewer tie‑in to Portsmouth; the Residences at Wallis Sands (1215 Ocean Blvd) units are occupied though some site landscaping remains; a certificate of occupancy has been issued for the building at 295 Lafayette Rd. while site work continues; and the Housing Partnership development on Airfield Drive remains under construction.
The board approved the amended March 17 minutes earlier in the meeting and adjourned at 7:01 p.m.
