Empire MAC keeps monthly meeting schedule, sets officer elections for June 25

The Empire Municipal Advisory Council on May 28 approved its 2025 meeting calendar, keeping council meetings on a monthly schedule and scheduling officer elections for its next meeting on June 25, 2025.
Hannah Holden, acting secretary for the council, recorded the approval during the action-items portion of the meeting. The minutes state the MAC "will continue to be held monthly as presented," with no mover/second or roll-call tally recorded in the minutes.
The council also listed an informational item that the election of officers — president, secretary and vice-president — will be held at the June 25 meeting. Members present included Holden, Rafael Rodriguez and Brett Jensen.
During correspondence and council comments, Jennifer Hidalgo said she would investigate reopening the MAC post office box and follow up at a future meeting. Members also requested presentations from the Stanislaus County Planning Department, the Valley Water Collaborative and the Empire Elementary Booster Club.
The meeting adjourned at 6:43 p.m.; the next regular meeting is scheduled for June 25, 2025.
