Oliver Borchers-Williams of SENDD updated the board on local projects and recent SENDD bylaw revisions, noting SENDD’s work with Stromsburg and Osceola. Commissioner Boruch moved to approve the revised interlocal cooperation agreement; Chairman Jerry Westring seconded and the motion carried on a unanimous roll call.
According to the minutes, SENDD’s board has voted to revise its bylaws and interlocal agreements and is requesting member counties to approve the changes. The approved revision was presented to the commissioners during the meeting; the motion’s minutes record the board’s approval. The county’s vote authorizes Polk County to be part of the revised SENDD arrangement. The minutes note the revised agreement was approved “as presented.”
