Polk County approves two special designated alcohol permits for William Wolfe Post #91 at fairgrounds

Clerk of District Court Jodie L. Roberts reported collected fees for September, and the board considered two special designated permit requests to allow alcohol sales at Polk County Fairgrounds events.
Crystal Gay met with the board to request approval for two permits enabling William Wolfe Post #91 to sell and serve alcohol at the Ag Pavilion on Nov. 15, 2025 and Dec. 6, 2025. Commissioner Boss moved to grant the permits; Commissioner Boruch seconded. The roll-call vote was Boss, aye; Boruch, aye; Westring, aye, and the motion carried.
The board’s approval authorizes the organization to sell and serve alcohol at the specified Ag Pavilion events on the dates approved; no additional conditions were recorded in the minutes.
