Board member Noelle Johnson asked why account 42390 — "Other Repair and Maintenance" — showed spending at 194 percent. Aaron Kueffler, a GFPL staff member, told trustees the overage was due to carpet cleaning costs.
Johnson also asked about Deep Freeze software; Director Amy Dissmeyer explained that Deep Freeze is the software on public computers that refreshes the machine after every restart to maintain a standard configuration.
After these explanations, Trustee Sam DeForest moved to approve the financial reports and Noelle Johnson seconded; the board approved the reports by unanimous vote of members present.
The board did not change budget allocations at the meeting but later discussed preliminary budget guidance and an assistant director placeholder during the new-business segment.
