Brad Parsons, building maintenance foreman, outlined multiple capital requests including police department air-conditioning ($130,000), police asbestos abatement ($18,300), town hall and library water-intrusion repairs ($130,000 each), a $2 million request for roof replacements covering Town Hall, the Center Building, police and library, and a separate $2 million request for town-wide HVAC improvements. Other operating requests recorded in the minutes included Board of Finance operating $355,164 (+0.63%), The Center $143,000 (+9.16%), Cultural and Community Center $28,272 (+44.67%), Medical Services $340,581 (+2.31%), Tax Collector $181,452 (+4.57%) and Assessor’s Office $202,443 (+2.64%).
