Board approves minutes, First Selectman reports staff retirements and liaison assignments

First Selectman Mica Cardozo reported that several staff members were retiring — Warren Connors, Karen Crosby and Andy Esposito — and thanked them for their years of service. The report was a personnel announcement and did not include replacement plans or timelines.
Liaison reports followed. Tom Handler said he had reached out to the Woodbridge Board of Education superintendent and will meet regularly regarding the budget. Donavon Lofters provided an update on the Amity Regional School District budget, saying it planned a 2.60% overall budget increase with Woodbridge’s share being 2.59%. Scott Prud’homme was appointed liaison to the Police Commission and Christina Baker to the library; the board still needs a representative for Recreation and Human Services.
Chairman Donavon Lofters moved to adjourn; Vice Chairman Beth Heller seconded, and the board voted to adjourn at 8:00 p.m.
