Superintendent Shawn Parkhurst and Executive Director Rebecca Bissonnette presented the plan and its goals for the 2026–31 period. After discussion among board members, Greg Guyette moved to approve the plan and Amber Mortensen-Hurdle seconded; the motion passed unanimously.
Board members praised student accomplishments and emphasized continuity between the strategic goals and district priorities identified in recent school-year reviews. The plan will guide district decisions on curriculum, staffing and resource allocation through the coming five years.
The Board did not attach immediate policy or budgetary changes to the adoption; implementation details and timelines will be developed by the leadership team and returned for future review.
