Pembroke board ratifies Water District No. 5 after state debt threshold change

The resolution states the estimated first-year operating, maintenance, debt service and other charges per equivalent dwelling unit would be $1,048, and a one-time estimated installation cost per unit of $1,140. The resolution also records that the planned improvements — including potable water and distribution pipes and incidental apparatus — will be constructed only if the necessary funds are made available and that no public funds will be expended; costs will be borne by the residents of the district.
Councilman Edward G. Arnold Jr. moved the ratification and Supervisor Schneider seconded; the vote was recorded as Ayes: Arnold, Manne, Conti, Schneider; Nays: None.
The board previously published and posted required notices and held hearings (the record cites a prior hearing and the board’s earlier February 9, 2023 Final Order).
