Winthrop School Board approves outings trip and ratifies administrators' contract

Kristen Kaiser, art teacher and the trip adviser, described the itinerary (canoeing, ropes course, rock climbing, camping) and noted she is a certified whitewater guide and the district has run the trip previously.
Executive session and contract ratification: The board voted to enter executive session pursuant to 1 M.R.S.A. §405(6)(D). After returning, members moved, seconded and unanimously ratified an agreement between the Winthrop School Board and the Winthrop Administrators Association (MEA/NEA) covering July 1, 2026 through July 30, 2029.
