Vice Chair Bowman moved that the commission recommend the mayor appoint two council representatives to negotiate with Burlington; Commissioner Amik seconded. The motion passed on roll call.
What happens next: the recommendation goes to the mayor for appointment of two City Council members to meet with Burlington officials; staff said the goal is an orderly transfer of ETJ authority so the ranch’s future development can proceed under a single jurisdiction.
