Douglas County approves liquor license for Cross Strain Brewing LLC

Doug Verna, who identified himself as general manager at Cross Strain Brewing, said the company plans a third taproom at the development address listed on the application and described the business as a growing local employer. “We are applying for a liquor license in that new development out there. This will be our third tap room within the state,” Verna said.
After closing the public hearing, a motion to approve the license was made (motion by Commissioner Borgensson, second by Commissioner Morgan) and the board approved the application 4–0.
The application on the agenda listed the business as Crow Strain Brewing LLC doing business as Cross Strain Brewing at 17915 Manderson, Omaha; the applicant identified himself and his manager during public comment. The clerk recorded no public opposition during the hearing.
The approval authorizes county issuance of the local license subject to any remaining state or municipal licensing steps that the applicant must complete.
