The Lake Oswego Planning Commission on June 22 approved draft findings finalizing the commission’s June 8 decision on legislative text amendments to Chapter 55 (tree code) and Chapter 50 (community development code), case LU26-000014. Commissioner Moreno moved to approve the findings “as presented,” and the motion carried; Vice Chair Bruce stated he would continue his prior nay vote.
The commission’s action formalized the record associated with the June 8 tentative decision. Director Neonalu confirmed that a majority of the commission approved the findings and that the decision from June 8 would be finalized by adopting the draft findings presented at tonight’s meeting.
Commissioner Moreno made the motion to adopt the draft findings and a second was given; the commission then conducted a voice vote. Vice Chair Bruce said he would maintain a nay vote because he had opposed the tentative decision made earlier in June. The chair/director announced that the findings were approved as presented.
The proceedings did not include additional amendments to the findings on the record during the June 22 meeting. The draft findings that were approved were distributed to commissioners in advance of the meeting. The record for LU26-000014 will reflect the commission’s adoption of those findings.
