Other approved administrative items included: a line‑item transfer for jail medical contract renewal, a transfer to repair windstorm damage to a concession roof at Jumbo Motors Sports Park (cost estimated just under $25,000), a transfer to cover animal control overtime while staffing is replenished, and routine renewals for voluntary employee supplemental plans (dental, vision, identity‑theft shield, voluntary disability/whole life, Aflac products and FSA/COBRA administration).
The court approved the appointment of Sean Hashold as a reserve deputy constable for Precinct 2 after Constable Cheatham described completion of background checks. The court recessed into executive session under Texas Government Code provisions to discuss pending and contemplated litigation and the County Administrator position and returned at 10:28 a.m. with no action taken.
The court adjourned until its next regular meeting, scheduled to begin July 2.
