Natrona County hears Baker Tilly compensation study; Milne asks for benefits comparison

Baker Tilly consultants Jada Kent, Madeline Scott and Sarah Towne presented the results of a Classification and Compensation Market Study to the Natrona County Board of Commissioners on March 17, 2026. The consultants outlined findings and implementation considerations but made no formal recommendations that the board acted on.
County Clerk Tracy Good noted the county's pay policy and merit considerations and said the last comprehensive wage study was completed in 2006 and not fully implemented. Chairman Jim Milne asked staff to provide a benefits comparison to accompany any proposed changes so the board can weigh total compensation impacts.
The presentation was for information; commissioners did not vote on implementation during the meeting. Baker Tilly's representatives and county staff agreed to follow up with additional materials for a future meeting.
