Their report covered a fundraiser for the exchange group, community service with the Joliet Food Bank, ACE Leadership training, and the return of the livestock judging team from the stock show.
The agents also described recent and upcoming outreach: a 4-H Family Fund Aid and Awards Program; a four-class diabetes series; two estate-planning workshops; two fall-prevention programs for older adults; a caregiver support group; a real-life simulation class for students in grades 5–12 held in Fromberg; and preparations to train new summer-camp counselors.
No board action was recorded on these items; the update was received by the commissioners and the agents left the meeting.
