Board President Amanda called the measures to the floor. The board approved minutes from the June 9 and June 18 meetings and accepted routine financial reports and warrants. The personnel consent agenda — presented on the superintendent’s recommendation — was approved by voice vote.
The board ratified a memorandum of agreement dated 06/09/2026 with the Somers School-Related Professionals concerning in-house coverage by teaching assistants and teacher aides when teachers are absent. The board also authorized the superintendent to execute a side letter of agreement dated 06/10/2026 that gives clerical employees the option of a shortened workweek during the summer.
Two stipulations of settlement — signed 06/16/2026 and 06/15/2026 and identified in the meeting as pertaining to student files XXX262 and XXX250 — were authorized, with the superintendent empowered to execute and implement the agreements. The transcript records voice votes approving these items; specific roll-call tallies were not read into the record.
The board adopted, on second reading, the district policies read into the record as '1130.1' (maintaining district neutrality on non-school-related matters) and '9605' (social media). The policy numbers and language were read at the meeting and adopted by voice vote.

No members of the public spoke on agenda items during the first public-comment period. The board adjourned after final remarks and reminders about the upcoming high-school graduation.
