Wildomar Mayor Carlos Marquez announced the launch of a City of Wildomar app powered by SeeClickFix, saying the tool gives residents a “direct connection to city services” and an easier way to report local problems. "We're excited to introduce the new City of Wildomar app powered by SeeClickFix, your direct connection to city services and an easier way to help keep our community safe, clean, and well maintained," Marquez said.
City presenters described how the app works and what residents can report. A city presenter said the app routes submissions to the appropriate staff so the city can "review and respond as efficiently as possible." Officials listed infrastructure examples that can be reported, including potholes, damaged sidewalks, traffic-signal issues and trail problems, and said residents can file requests from their phones.
Presenters also emphasized that the app is intended for quality-of-life and property-maintenance concerns. "Residents can report issues such as abandoned vehicles, concerns related to homelessness, trash and debris, weed overgrowth, and other property maintenance concerns," a presenter said, adding that "providing a photo and location helps our team better understand the issues and determine the appropriate next steps."
Marquez framed the app as an improvement in customer service and transparency and invited residents to download it. The announcement closed with a brief call to action and the city slogan: "Because we are Wildomar." The city did not specify an exact launch date, download links, or additional implementation details in the announcement.
