Anderson south parking lot, which currently has pavers in part of the lot.
Gimmended said the board packet includes the base year and year‑by‑year projections from FY27 through FY36, but the district is emphasizing FY28 projects for next summer. Board members on the facilities subcommittee described the presentation as thorough and recommended approval.
In response to a funding question, administration explained LTFM funding comes from a mixture of local levy and state aid; a financial summary cited roughly $930,000 in levy revenue and about $280,000 in associated state aid that flows through for maintenance purposes. The board also discussed coordination with the facilities consultant and project timing, with a further review and bidding timeline anticipated at the August meeting.
The motion to approve the LTFM plan was moved by Director Doman and seconded by Director Peterson; the board approved the plan on a roll‑call vote.
What happens next: administration will submit the approved LTFM application to the Minnesota Department of Education and continue detailed project planning for FY28 work, including paving solutions for O.H. Anderson and scheduled summer maintenance items.
