HUDSON, Texas — The Hudson City Council unanimously approved an $0.87 rate increase for Pineywoods Sanitation at its Sept. 19 meeting after the company presented its request.
Sonny Hubbard of Pineywoods Sanitation told the council the company had not raised rates for the past year and requested an $0.87 increase. Councilmember Terry Taliaferro moved to approve the rate adjustment; Councilmember Frankie Ornduff seconded. The motion passed 5–0.
