Attorney Jason Thomas and proposed manager Jeffrey Brown appeared at the hearing and confirmed the town received the required newspaper notices, certified mailings and affidavits. "Everything's been done that's required and...we haven't heard from anybody," Jason Thomas said, noting certified mail receipts and green cards are in the clerk’s file.
The item arose because the initial application category was interpreted as a "restaurant" license; after ABCC (Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission) advice and town counsel review, the applicants refiled for a general on‑premises license that does not require a CD license. With no public comment the board closed the hearing and voted 4–0 to grant the license.
