The nomination came during discussion of the Capital Improvement Planning Committee — which the board said meets two to three times a year to review major capital projects. Sarah L. Ryan, board member and clerk, made Motion 01122026-01 to nominate Jason Oney as the Planning Board’s representative; Sam Champigny seconded. The motion passed on a roll call vote with all four members voting yes.
The nomination matters because the committee reviews large capital projects that can affect town budget priorities and project timing. Board members said Danelle LaFlower had been the Planning Board’s representative and noted the next CIP meeting is scheduled for Jan. 28.
