East Rockhill supervisors approve road contract, garden and other routine actions; decline sale of 25 EDUs

At its March 26, 2019 meeting the East Rockhill Township Board of Supervisors approved a slate of routine administrative and public‑works actions.
The board unanimously adopted the February 26, 2019 meeting minutes and approved payment of the unpaid bills list dated March 22, 2019 in the amount of $185,008.20 (motion by Supervisor Jim Nietupski; seconded by Vice‑Chair David Nyman). The Board approved the Planning Commission report and granted preliminary/final approval for the Dornstreich lot‑line adjustment at 1501 Branch Road and 151 White Road, including waivers contingent on removal of vegetation for sight‑line visibility and compliance with the engineering review letter dated Feb. 26, 2019 (motion by Supervisor David Nyman; seconded by Supervisor Nietupski).
The Board approved a Pennridge Community Center report and accepted Pennridge Wastewater Treatment Authority and Pennridge Area Coordinating Committee reports. Sergeant Maloney presented the Pennridge Regional Police activity report, which the Board approved.
On public‑works matters the Board approved a proposed Eagle Scout vegetable garden at Willard H. Markey Centennial Park (motion by Supervisor Nyman; seconded by Supervisor Nietupski) and awarded the 2019 ultra‑thin bonded wearing course contract for Hillendale Road and Creek View Drive to Asphalt Maintenance Solutions for $78,064.52 (motion by Supervisor Nyman; seconded by Supervisor Nietupski). The Board declined a request from the Hilltown Water and Sewer Authority to purchase 25 Equivalent Dwelling Units (EDUs) (motion by Supervisor Nietupski; seconded by Vice‑Chair Nyman). It also approved removal of a 12‑inch street tree at 160 Sunnyside Lane contingent on the homeowner replacing the sidewalk within six months (motion by Supervisor Nietupski; seconded by Vice‑Chair Nyman).
The Board acknowledged receipt of department and emergency services reports and approved the Township Manager, Public Works and Engineer reports. With no further business the Board adjourned into Executive Session to discuss litigation and real estate (motion by Supervisor Nietupski; seconded by Vice‑Chair Nyman).
