County representatives discussed outstanding reimbursements and additional improvements (including tree plantings and trail surfacing) before any transfer or significant county action; Flory said the conservation board appeared amenable in principle to turning over some responsibilities or property but that the county's timeline extends into September for reimbursements and work completion.
Council took no formal actions but asked staff to continue discussions and coordinate with county staff and community groups on trail improvements and signage planning.
