Atkins council approves $451,687 pay application; fire station project 76% complete

Scott said the original contract sum is $3,376,000 and that change orders to date have been small (net less than $6,000). He reported the current pay estimate for approval was $451,687, retainage at 5% ($127,188), and the balance to finish listed in the packet (including retainage) at approximately $927,388. Scott said the project is about 76% complete and that the schedule expects contract completion near the end of January 2026, possibly a few weeks early.
Councilor Trevor Derski moved to approve pay estimate No. 10; Bob Stolen seconded. The council approved the payment by roll-call (4-0).
