Supervisors accept resignations and appoint new members to health, township and insurance boards
Summary

The Warren County Board of Supervisors on March 3 accepted multiple resignations, including a letter acknowledging the recent death of Anne Feddler from the Des Moines County Board of Health, and approved several appointments to fill the vacancies.
Chair read a letter of resignation and memorialized Feddler’s service; Krista Pogamiller noted Feddler’s long experience as a nursing instructor and her value to local health governance. The board then moved to appoint the Right Reverend Dr. Floyd R. Blair of First United Church of Christ in Burlington to the Des Moines County Board of Health; supervisors expressed support and approved the appointment.
The board also accepted trustee resignations from Flint River Township (including Cody Piper) and approved the trustees’ recommendations to appoint Douglas W. Beckman and Matthew Trexell to fill the resulting vacancies for terms expiring Dec. 31, 2026. In addition, the board accepted a resignation from the COBCO (city–county health-insurance) board and appointed Wayne Lutenegger to serve as the county’s representative by resolution.
Each appointment was moved, seconded and approved by the board during the meeting. The board encouraged members of the public interested in future openings to apply via the county Board of Health website.
