Council directs clerk to draft broader chicken ordinance allowing egg sales and up to 25 birds

Councilmember Mark Bruns moved that the clerk prepare an amendment to allow up to 25 chickens, allow the sale of eggs and permit feed to remain outdoors overnight if the feeding equipment can be sealed against rodents; Councilmember Chad Ketchum seconded the motion and the council approved it unanimously.
The motion instructs the clerk to draft the ordinance language for future review and formal adoption at a subsequent meeting.
