Sabula council approves consent agenda, designates Clinton National Bank as official bank

At its Dec. 17 meeting the Sabula City Council approved the consent agenda (minutes, claims, financial reports and Resolution #1343), passed Resolution #1344 designating Clinton National Bank as the official bank, and heard a police activity report; all motions passed by voice vote (all ayes).
The Sabula City Council on Dec. 17 approved its consent agenda, confirmed a designated representative for the Jackson County Waste Authority and designated Clinton National Bank as the city's official bank.
Council member Teena Franzen moved to approve the consent agenda, which included approval of the Nov. 26, 2024 minutes, December claims and filing of financial statements for September and October; Mike O'Hara seconded the motion, which passed on a voice vote (all ayes). The consent agenda also included approval of Resolution #1343, naming the city's designated representative for the Jackson County Waste Authority.
The council then considered Resolution #1344, which would designate Clinton National Bank as the official bank for the City of Sabula. Council member Teena Franzen moved adoption of the resolution; Dave Ward seconded. The motion passed on a voice vote (all ayes).
The meeting included a routine police activity report summarizing November/December activity: 35 miscellaneous aid/information calls, 40 officer-initiated calls, two motor vehicle accidents, three assists with other agencies, two requests for assistance from other agencies, 10 citations, one arrest, five warnings, two reports taken and a total of 75 police-related events for the reporting period.
The meeting was adjourned after the listed business. Minutes were signed by Mayor Troy Hansen and City Clerk Lynn Parker.
