Madgar also said a motion will be presented at the next council meeting to add the fire department to the Borough’s life insurance policy. He reported that a meeting with Emergency Management Coordinators from nearby communities was held about consolidating for an upcoming drill and that a motion to formalize the consolidation may be presented in March or April. Madgar also noted the police department received its 19th AAA award for investigations, accident statistics and data collection.
