SARB approves meeting minutes, notes three-member reappointment on City Council agenda

In a brief procedural session the SARB unanimously approved minutes from Jan. 8 and Jan. 22, noted three members’ upcoming reappointments to be considered by the City Council on Feb. 16, and adjourned at 10:09 a.m.
The Shopping Area Redevelopment Board unanimously approved two sets of meeting minutes and closed its Feb. 12 meeting at 10:09 a.m.
Board Member VanHoven moved and Board Member Dick supported approval of the Jan. 8, 2026 minutes; all present voted aye and the motion carried. Board Member Gentry moved and Board Member VanHoven supported approval of the Jan. 22, 2026 minutes; all present voted aye and the motion carried.
Marketing Director deRoo told members that three SARB positions — held by Vos, Barnes and VanHoven — expire Feb. 16 and that all three incumbents had completed consideration-for-appointment forms; deRoo said their reappointments will be on the City Council meeting agenda on Feb. 16, 2026.
Board Member Gentry moved and Board Member VanHoven supported a motion to close the meeting at 10:09 a.m.; all present voted aye. City Clerk Kristi DeVerney signed the memorandum of meeting.
