DAVENPORT, Iowa — The Scott County Board of Supervisors on April 9 unanimously approved minutes and a seven-item consent agenda that authorized multiple purchases, personnel reappointments and payment approvals.
Moved by Supervisor Bribriesco and seconded by Supervisor Paustian, the board approved: a Novatime time-and-attendance maintenance and support agreement for $36,639.00; the purchase of two Polaris Ranger XP 1000 utility vehicles for $46,758.92 from Polaris Sales, Inc.; and a resolution declining to opt out of a class-action lawsuit against Takeda Pharmaceutical Company to preserve the county’s eligibility to participate in any future settlement. The board also consented to a conflict-waiver request from the law firm Ahlers & Cooney, P.C., and authorized the chair to sign related contract documents.
The board reappointed Maria Kobelenske and Wayne Kraft to the Veterans Affairs Commission for three-year terms expiring June 1, 2029, and approved payment of warrants numbered 346452 through 346720 totaling $1,297,583.41, EFT payments totaling $3,115.77, and Wells Fargo purchase-card transactions totaling $168,664.05. All items on the consent agenda were approved by roll call vote: all ayes.
The meeting minutes for the March 24 Committee of the Whole and the March 26 Special Board and regular Board meetings were approved earlier in the session by the same unanimous vote.
