The Andover Zoning Board of Appeals also completed post‑election housekeeping at Thursday’s meeting, seating two new full members and electing board officers.
The board confirmed Michael Greenhouse and Julia as newly seated full members, and designated an alternate to fill the second alternate slot for the meeting. Members then nominated and elected Fred Oliver as chair by voice vote and selected a vice chair in a separate motion. The board also adopted its 2026 meeting schedule (third Wednesday of the month) and agreed to consider drafting bylaws for the board in coming months, referencing recently revised bylaws for a related planning board as a potential template.
The reorganization and schedule were approved by voice votes recorded during the meeting. Members said the newly seated members will take part in upcoming deliberations and that routine items such as minutes adoption and scheduling will be handled at subsequent meetings.
The board adjourned after finishing the evening’s business.
