Separately, public comment and a board member noted an outstanding corrective action plan connected to the town and school audit; the board was told the plan was drafted previously but that the superintendent contested specific language about whether bank reconciliations should occur monthly or only at fiscal year‑end. The board directed staff to work with the auditor and the superintendent to finalize language so grant eligibility is not jeopardized.
Staff will prepare treasurer job-ad materials and a memo on duty split for board review and will return with a recommended ad schedule.
