Kelly Van Bendigam, district manager and agent for a Dollar General applicant, appeared before the Waukesha Ordinance and Licensing Committee on March 24 to seek a class A beer and class C wine-only liquor license. Committee members had no substantive questions, and the chair moved to recommend the application to the full City Council.
The committee recorded a unanimous recommendation; the chair told Van Bendigam the council will consider the application on April 3 and, if approved under consent, the license paperwork would be available from the clerk on April 4.
Van Bendigam confirmed the license sought covers beer and wine only. The committee offered no objections and closed its review of the application.
