The Waukesha City Ordinance and Licensing Committee unanimously approved a package of routine license renewals at its March 24 meeting and forwarded the list to the full City Council on the consent agenda. The batch included private alarm licenses, retail liquor and beer licenses, and service-provider registrations for businesses operating in the city.
The committee took the action after a motion and second to approve all items listed on the agenda; no committee members raised objections during discussion. Chair said the items would appear under the council consent agenda and would not draw separate council debate unless a councilmember pulled an item for discussion.
The approvals covered licenses listed by staff during the committee meeting, which the chair summarized for the record. The committee’s vote was recorded as unanimous; the chair instructed applicants that, when the council adopts the consent agenda, their renewed licenses will be available through the clerk’s office.
