The council approved the agenda and consent agenda unanimously. It adopted Resolution 2025-N designating a road closure for a Taylor Drive block party and approved a five-day Class C retail alcohol license for Traveling Tapster; both motions passed 5-0. Council also set the September regular meeting for Monday, Sept. 8 at 5:30 p.m. and set 2025 trick-or-treat hours for Friday, Oct. 31 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
Council voted to table discussion about a proposed new city website until the September meeting so members could research options; that motion carried 5-0.
The minutes include an itemized list of claims paid in July and other vendor payments.
