The Sand Lake Village Council on Oct. 7 approved the Draft Master Plan 2024 and authorized staff to distribute the draft to adjoining communities and the Kent County Commission as required by the Michigan Planning Enabling Act. Council member Camilleri made the motion to accept the 10/7/24 draft; Council member Wright seconded.
The motion passed by roll call. Council member Wright voted yes, President Doerr voted yes, Council member Latham voted yes and Council member Camilleri voted yes. Council members Christensen, Helton and Merritt were recorded absent. The minutes state “Motion Carried.”
The council opened and closed two brief public-comment periods during the meeting; no members of the public spoke. President Doerr called the meeting to order at 2:31 p.m.; the meeting was adjourned at 2:37 p.m.
