The York Public Schools Board of Education approved a teaching contract for Trent Bruntz at lane/step A-2 during its Jan. 13, 2025 meeting. Matt Holthe moved to approve the teaching contract; Alison North seconded and the board recorded a roll-call vote in favor.
The board also approved 2025–26 contract extensions for six staff members: Dr. Beth Ericson, Katie Burger, Dan Flynn, Kenny Loosvelt, Brian Gralheer and Tyler Herman. Alex Hildebrand moved to approve the group of extensions and Brian Tonniges seconded; the motion passed on a recorded roll-call vote.
No resignations or retirements were listed in the meeting minutes. Administrators had presented a December budget report and a winter activities report earlier in the meeting, but the contract approvals were presented as personnel actions on the consent/regular agenda and were approved by the board.
The approvals take effect for the 2025–26 contract year unless otherwise specified in the individual contracts.
