Superintendent Sheila Caldwell reported a string of personnel changes during the May 18 meeting. The superintendent announced that recently hired Business Manager Ali Alnasif resigned effective May 14, 2026. Additional resignations recorded in the meeting record include Camren Barker (Holden night custodian, effective May 7, 2026), Hellen Allen-Weldon (Holden art teacher, effective at the end of the 2025–2026 school year), Jason Smith (Social Studies Grade 5/6, effective at the end of 2025–2026), Christian Peerzada (Holbrook STEM/RTI, effective at the end of 2025–2026) and Cassidy Seip (Grade 5/6 ELA, effective at the end of 2025–2026).
The board recorded several appointments: Rebecca Gideon ("A and B" girls softball coach, spring 2026), Ashley Hutchins (track and field coach, spring 2026), Thomas Smith (boys "B" baseball coach, spring 2026), Gene Worcester (boys "A" baseball coach, spring 2026) and Mariah Roberts (Educational Technician I, Holden & Eddington). The superintendent also noted that hiring committees are in place for Elementary Schools Principal (Eddington & Holden) and for a district Registered School Nurse, and that the district is accepting applications for several open positions including custodial and educational technician roles.
The board moved to accept the committees' minutes, administrative reports and the superintendent's report; that motion passed 6–0 with 2 absent.
