Superintendent Eddie Campbell recommended awarding the fire extinguishers and automatic suppression system contract to the meeting’s only bidder, Fire Protection Products, at a price of $16,844.50. The board moved, seconded and approved the contract by voice vote.
The superintendent then presented the consent agenda, which included expenditures over $3,000; supplements and transfers; payment of salaries and accounts payable; the Pitney Bowes lease; a Studies Weekly agreement; the BSN agreement with Clay‑Battelle; field experiences; a WVU health affiliation agreement; and the minutes of the June 9, 2026 meeting. The board moved, seconded and approved the consent agenda by voice vote.
There were no changes to the personnel list; the superintendent recommended approval of the personnel list as presented and a personnel addendum. Both motions were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote. The superintendent noted there were no new positions in the list or addendum.
The board’s routine business concluded with committee updates and recognitions, including acknowledgement of Sandy DeVault for an award from the West Virginia School Administrators Association, and reminders of upcoming meetings before adjournment.
