On commissioner items, staff provided an update on Horondo Park at Catalina and Horondo: the park is in a 90‑day landscaping maintenance period that staff said should conclude at the end of the month; a naming discussion is expected at City Council on July 7, followed by a ribbon cutting in early July. Staff noted the project was bifurcated into two phases because of cost and that slope completion will await additional funding and potential inclusion in a future CIP.
Commissioners discussed the July meeting schedule and, by unanimous roll call, agreed to cancel the July 27 meeting and reconvene for the regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. on August 24, 2026, in council chambers.
