Oxford council swears in Bryan Cooling, appoints Crystal Raiber as city attorney

The council then appointed Crystal Raiber as the city attorney after a motion by Council member Jim Hennes and a second from Council member Walter; the appointment passed on a unanimous vote. Mayor Johnson also announced that interviews for the assistant public works director position are scheduled for July 15–17 with the hiring committee.
The actions were procedural and noncontroversial: the council approved the agenda and consent items earlier in the meeting, and the appointments and scheduling were carried with unanimous support. The meeting adjourned at 8:14 PM.
