CDD approves Seaside & Master Drainage work and $15,000 irrigation change order
Summary

District Engineer Charlie Krebs told the board the revised scope of work for the Seaside & Master Drainage Project will make it easier for staff to adjust systems while keeping the project's original intent; MRI expects work to commence in two to three weeks.
Krebs also presented additional costs from Irrigation Concepts: $4,002.50 to repair damaged wiring and approximately $1,300 each to raise seven to eight irrigation heads. On a motion by Kurt Blumenthal, seconded by Bob Schultz, the board approved an Irrigation Concepts change order to repair wiring and raise irrigation heads in a not-to-exceed amount of $15,000.
The drainage project and approved change order aim to minimize ancillary repairs during the upcoming construction and reduce future system conflicts.
