Board hears Pay-to-Participate update: $14,439.98 collected, 26 waivers filed

Superintendent Shawn Parkhurst updated the Windsor Locks Board of Education on Pay-to-Participate collections at the Sept. 29 special meeting.
Parkhurst said the district had collected $14,439.98 to date and that no transportation bills had yet been received. He reported 15 Windsor Locks High School students and two Windsor Locks Middle School students have outstanding participation bills. The superintendent also said 26 waivers were submitted this cycle and 22 waivers have been granted.
The update was informational; the minutes do not record additional action or a vote. The board will continue to monitor collections and outstanding balances.
