Because the village lacks the required member quorum at the next regular meeting, council discussed scheduling a special or emergency meeting later in the month so it can declare an emergency and adopt the ordinance in time for the statutory deadline.
Members asked for availability and suggested coordinating with the finance committee schedule; the administrator said he will circulate dates and coordinate a special session for formal adoption and emergency declaration if needed.
