At its most recent meeting, the Village of Cleves council voted on several formal actions:

- Resolution 11 (2026) authorizing an advance of $5,000 from the general fund to the parks fund (to be repaid after reimbursement of an $8,600 grant) was adopted by roll call.
- Pay Ordinance 6 (2026) was approved.
- The council approved the promotion/reclassification of waterworks employee Daniel Gilligan from Water Tech I to Water Tech II and adjusted compensation accordingly.
- The council accepted donations totaling $13,250 for the American 250 celebration and recognized donors.
Several items were read but not voted on: the proposed 1% municipal income tax ordinance (second reading) and Ordinance 8 (cybersecurity governance updates), both scheduled for future action.
