The plan also included fieldhouse flooring and bleacher repairs, annual turf-field set-asides, and tennis/softball field work.
Facilities staff noted some FY2026 lines reflect money already spent and others are replacement cycles rather than new projects. Board discussion referenced an estimated total program-level figure of roughly $6.5 million over the five-year span and debated long-term turf maintenance costs versus natural grass for heavily used fields.
The board approved the plan by motion. Staff said projects will be forwarded to the first selectman and Board of Finance as part of the town appropriation and capital-review process.
