The Sherman Commission for the Arts reviewed outreach materials and social media metrics at its March 12 meeting.
Vice Chairperson Linda Hubbard said the commission printed 1,200 Art & Culture brochures and that about 500 remain in inventory. Commissioners assigned distribution checks and replenishment points: Donna Kennedy will continue distributing from her list and Susanna Marker’s list and will check brochure levels at Limoncello; Christy Bonaiuto will replenish supplies at American Pie and The Daily Market; MaryJane Magoon will check Barn Gallery, White Silo, JCC and Sacred Grounds.
Hubbard also reported that only she and Christy Bonaiuto currently have posting privileges on the Commission’s Facebook page. The page has 179 followers; Hubbard reported 858 views over the past month and 79 people engaged. Brett Pransky offered to review the page but did not immediately sign on as an administrator. The commission did not record a formal change to posting permissions in the minutes.
The commission’s outreach actions are largely logistical assignments rather than budgetary decisions; the minutes do not specify costs, timelines for updating brochure content or any third-party distribution agreements.
