Tim Laughlin, a Board of Education member, told the School Building Committee on Feb. 27 that the project team is at the stage of preparing a CT DAS 1049R, the formal state budget update for the project.
Laughlin said the CSG team assisted in preparing the 1049R and that the committee is simultaneously finalizing furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E) schedules and the technology package. He said the project must undergo a PCR (project change request) review with the state and that the goal is to align the 1049R submission with the final FF&E and technology budgets; he anticipated the work would be completed by the end of next week.
No formal decisions or votes on the 1049R were recorded; the committee moved on after the presentation and listed a regular meeting for March 16, 2026. The minutes do not include additional schedule detail or the exact submission date to the state beyond the stated target of “the end of next week.”
