Finance Director Piney Helmuth presented a request to destroy expired contracts dated 2000–2010 and claims from July 2015 to June 2017, stating the claims “fulfill the seven-year statutory requirement for destruction.” Commissioner Scott Miller moved to accept the destruction record request and Commissioner Bill Bullock seconded; the motion carried.
At 10:00 a.m. the board considered Addendum #1 with Quartz Construction to extend gravel crushing at the Vukonich Pit, a change prompted by a wind event that tipped sectors over. Commissioner Scott Miller moved to approve the amendment; Commissioner Bill Bullock seconded and the motion carried. The addendum extends crushing operations through June 5, 2026.
The board also approved the Consent Agenda, moved by Commissioner Bill Bullock and seconded by Commissioner Scott Miller, which included the Commissioners' Proceedings dated March 5, 2026; Commissioner Approvals for March 8–21, 2026; and encroachment permits for Red Lodge Events for gravel road races. The meeting adjourned at 10:30 a.m.
